Boxed Funko Pop Display Shelf | FunkoPop Wall Mount for Boxed Pops

from £2.65
These are for boxed FunkoPops. FunkoPop not included.

My kids got me Freddie for my birthday last year, so I made a shelf for him, and then I ended up picking up a few more, which I kept in their boxes, so I made these display brackets for them.

Each 'shelf' consists of a pair of backing pieces and a pair of shelves, which push fit together and attach to the wall with a single Command Strip on each (included). You'll also receive a spacer with your order to help you set the pair the right distance apart for a standard FunkoPop box.

You can choose the colour from the drop down, but if you want a mix, or if you want shelves and backing plates to be different colours or whatever, just add a note to let me know.

Each pair comes with two small Command Strips, which will hold your Funko Pop with no issues as long as you do it right. Pay attention to the wording on the Command Strip itself, which tells you which way round to put it. Don't use on bare brick, textured wallpaper or similar surfaces, and make sure your paint is well adhered to the wall. Please see below for full instructions.

Please note that the tab on the Command Strip needs to be accessible to stay removable, so you can see that under the shelf. You could just paint it the same colour as the wall though if you wanted to hide it, or if you're not bothered about it being removable just cut it off. Though if you place them quite close together like I have, you won't see the tabs anyway.

I've made the spacer to help you fit the standard sized boxes, but the reason I made these as a pair of brackets rather than a single shelf is so that you can use them to hold different sized boxes if you want to. The Command Strips will hold about a kilo between them (as long as you fit them right) so as long as you don't overload them you could use them for bigger or smaller boxes. The main thing to look out for I think is the depth of your box, because if it's too deep it'll overhang the front too much, but if you need them for a certain size let me know and I can adjust it for you. (The shelf has a ridge at the back to help with positioning, and there's about 7.5cm (about 3") in front of that for the box to sit on.)

The fit of the shelf into the backing piece is tight. That's deliberate so that it holds it firmly. Push it in hard and it'll go in fine.

Before using, clean the back of the backing piece with alcohol or an alcohol wipe. To fit to the wall, just place the Command Strip on the back with the tab bit pointing downwards (there's a little ridge at the top so you can see which way round it goes), making sure to put the side with the red text on the shelf piece, and the other side - which says 'wall' all over it - against the wall. Press against a hard surface for 10 seconds to stick the strip to the backing piece. Next fit the shelf piece into the backing piece. Repeat this for the opposite bracket and then clip the spacer between the two pieces (like in the photo). Now line up on your wall - use a spirit level on the spacer to get it level - and, having removed the remaining backing paper from the Command Strips, press firmly on both backing pieces against the wall for 10 seconds. Remove the spacer and use it for your next pair. Leave them an hour or so before putting anything on it and you're good to go.

I've had several pops up for several months on these and similar shelves, as well as records, CDs, tapes, a skateboard deck, picture frames and various other things (some of which have been up for a couple of years). They will hold the weight, but you have to fit them properly. If there's any sign that your paint might be flaking, or you forgot to push hard and wait, don't use them. I can't be held responsible for issues since I can't be there to check you're doing it right.

Any questions just shout.

Cheers
Rob
